Okay, so in my last article we modded the Double Gulp. It was cool, the people at 7-11 thought that it was clever, but when we said "It is clearly visible that the cup is not very pleasing to the eye", we were not joking at all. It needs to look better. I know what your thinking, we are goning to rebuild the Double Gulp mod to make it look better, WRONG. This mod has nothing to do with insulating, or knowing how much is left in the cup.

Problems

What do You do when you simply need massive quantities of slurpy NOW. It does matter how cold it is, because you are just going to take it home and share " cough cough ". Sixty-four ounces just is not going to cut it, but it has been stated that the Double Gulp is the biggest size slupy cup that 7-11 stocks, the extreme gulp is only 52 oz. Not any more. Most people realize that there is lots of insulation foamy stuff inside of the extreme gulp. What most people do not realize is that the foamy insulation stuff takes up LOTS of space, so why not just take it all out :).

Solution

We took the Extreme Gulp, and with the help of mr. dremel, when made a nice cut around the inside of the cup.

Okay, so your are probably thinking that it will just slide out form there, because I know that I was. It didn't. We ended up having to pry, bend, crack, and break the inside with a screwdriver in every way possible. Unfortunaly, I only got one picture of the breaking process, but I am truly sorry.

Well, the picture is a bit blurry, actually it is VERY blurry. I found out after finishing this mod that my camera does have a macro mode for close up pictures, so I promise that form here on out all pictures will be much more focused. But anyway, if you cannot tell, there is a screwdriver being shoved under the plastic, then using a swift bending motion, the plasic breaks off. In the next picture we will get to see first hand, when happned to all of the foam and plastic that was removed from the cup.

Once again, it is blurry, and once again, I am sorry, but it is simply a giant pile of foam and plastic.

Well, there you have it. The finished product, holding aproximatly 38% more slurpy, that is about 68.64 oz of Slurpee. It does melt very, very, very fast. I do not think that I can emphasize how fast it really does melt, but it is okay considering that the point is to get massive amounts of Slurpee for a large number of people quickly. If you were having a big party and needed beverages, because the terrorists stole your smoothie maker, this is the cup for you.
